Overview

Users with a Canvas account have the ability to add their calendars in Canvas to their Google Calendars including assignments and events listed on your Canvas calendar. This feature allows students and faculty to keep their Canvas related events in one place within their Google Calendar if desired.

Adding Canvas Calendar to Google Calendar

Please follow these instructions to add your Canvas Calendar to your Google Calendar.

  • Log into Canvas with your MEID@maricopa.edu credentials.
  • Navigate to the "Calendar" tab on the left-hand side of your screen.
  • On the right-hand side of your screen, click the blue "Calendar Feed" text.
  • Once the Calendar Feed display box pops up, copy the link in the text box.
  • Navigate to Google Calendar.
    • Note: Ensure that you are logged into your Google account that you want to import your Canvas Calendar to.
  • On the left-hand side of the screen, click the "+" icon next to "Other calendars".
  • From the drop down, select "From URL".
  • In the "URL from calendar" text box, paste the link you copied from the Calendar Feed in Canvas.
  • Click the "Add calendar" button.
  • You have now successfully added your Canvas calendar to your Google Calendar.
