Removing Public Desktop Icons
Follow these steps to remove all public desktop icons, or individual application icons for Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco Jabber, Google Chrome, or Webex.
Note: The desktop icon for Microsoft Edge is installed in each individual profile. You can remove this icon without needing elevated permissions.
Steps
Software Center:
- Open Software Center via Start Menu search, or the Start Menu All Apps list.
- Select MCCCD Desktop Icon Removal
- Select Install
- After a few seconds of downloading, the interface will open.
- Select either Removal all Icons, or select the ones you wish to remove.
- When finished, select Finish.
- Icons will be removed.
