Removing Public Desktop Icons
Follow these steps to remove all public desktop icons, or individual application icons for Adobe Creative Cloud, Cisco Jabber, Google Chrome, or Webex.
Note: The desktop icon for Microsoft Edge is installed in each individual profile. You can remove this icon without needing elevated permissions.
Steps
Software Center
- Open Software Center using Start Menu search or from the Start Menu All Apps list.
- Select MCCCD Desktop Icon Removal.
- Select Install.
- After a few seconds of downloading, the interface will open.
- Select either Remove All Icons or choose individual icons to remove.
- When finished, select Finish.
- The selected icons will be removed.
