Seamlessly import all of your stored login credentials from the built-in Google Chrome Password Manager directly to your LastPass vault.
Before you start, Export your passwords from Chrome and save the CSV file on your computer
Exporting passwords from Google Password Manager:
- Open Chrome > at the top right, select more (the 3 dots) > Passwords and autofill > Google Password Manager > Settings > Scroll to “Export passwords.” > Select Download file and save.
- Make sure to delete all the password saved in Chrome, turn off “Offer to save password and passkeys”, and “Sign in automatically”

Import your Password to LastPass
- Login to your LastPass account to access your vault
- From the left Navigation menu go to Advanced Options > Import


- Select Chrome from the list of browsers

- Do one the following to import your passwords from Chrome
From the Export & upload page, under Upload the exported file to LastPass, choose from the following:
- Drag and drop the file containing the passwords exported from your Chrome Password Manager.
- Select browse your computer. Browse for the Chrome export file on your computer, select it and click Open.

- Select Review and Import (A lists of items found in the exported file appears.)
Note: If incomplete items are detected (for example, items are missing a username, password, or URL), the following message will pop-up:

Solution: Select Have a look. Under the Incomplete section, select next to the affected item in the Data Status column, then enter the missing information in the Edit password window and select Save changes.
- Next, Review & import page by default, all items are selected for import. If desired, make the following changes:
- Deselect items you don't want to import.
- If you want to create duplicate items (by importing items with the same username, password, and URL that already exist in your vault), enable the Select all duplicates option at the bottom of the list.

- Select Import All to complete the process
