Microsoft Office 365 Installation

The Microsoft Office 365 License for the desktop application suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) to install onto a device is available to only full-time classified staff, residential faculty, CIS (Computer Information Systems) specific adjuncts, and students.

Note: Part time staff and all other adjuncts will only be able to use the Web Version of Office 365.


To install Microsoft Office 365 on a device please do the following:


Process
1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge / Safari (Mac)).

2. Navigate to login.microsoftonline.com.

3. Sign in using your MEID credentials

  • MEID@maricopa.edu
  • Password

4. Authenticate your sign-in by approving the DUO push notification.

5. When you are on the Microsoft Office 365 landing page, click on the button 'Install Office'

6. Click the option 'Office 365 apps' to begin the installation.

7. If prompted to 'Run' or 'Save as' click 'Save as' and follow the steps in the installation wizard to complete the installation.
