How to Connect Email Account to Apple Mobile Device using the native iPhone Mail Application

To use the native ‘Mail’ application perform the following:

Step One: Navigate to ‘Settings’.

 Step Two: In the settings menu select Apps then Mail

Select Mail Accounts
***If you need to remove an old employee email, locate your employee account in the list and select it. Select delete account and then delete from my iPhone before proceeding. 

Select Add Account

Select Google as the account type

Step Three: Sign into your account by entering your MEID@gccaz.edu for your employee account or MEID@Maricopa.edu for your student account and then click ‘NEXT’. You will be redirected to the Maricopa site to sign in.

 Select your account if listed. If not, login with MEID@maricopa.edu at this step.

Enter your password and sign in.
Complete your multi-factor authentication via text/call/or Duo App.

Step Four: Finally, you will use the sliders to allow access to your Contacts, Notes, and Calendar. Turn these off if you do not wish to use these features. Then click ‘Save’. You can now access your emails through the ‘Mail’ application.
