Answer

We ask that software requestors disclose any information provided by the vendor in the GWC Request Software Process

1.  The software Requestor should ask the software Vendor to provide the ADA Information.  Attach any relevant materials to the Software Request Form as a PDF.

ADA and Section 508 accessibility documentation is mandatory for all student-use software & digital subscriptions.   Solutions without current accessibility documentation will not be approved for student use.  Please collect the following from your vendor:

Required (minimum):
 - Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR / VPAT)

If accessibility gaps exist (provide both):
- WCAG 2.1 AA Conformance Statement
- Accessibility Roadmap/Remediation Plan

Preferred (best practice):
-  All three documents listed above

2.  The software Requestor should search the Vendor's website for ADA Information.  Attach any relevant materials to the Software Request Form as a PDF.

3.  The software Requestor will be notified if there are any additional questions or concerns about the software.
