Description
These steps can be used to connect a Windows based computer owned by Phoenix College that is on campus to a network printer or copy machine.
Instructions
1. Open "File Explorer" on the Windows taskbar.
2. In the address bar, enter the server addresses (must use \\) in the address bar to locate the printer to be installed.
- Enter either \\printers or \\copiers (General is the only one that works on the 'copiers' server)
note: The user must know the name and location of the printer

3. Right-click on the desired printer from the list and select "Connect". Once the installation is complete, the printer will be available for use.
4. This is done per user unless in a shared location. If this is in a shared location, such as a lab, please create a ticket with the Help Desk.
