Setting up MCCCD Email in the Gmail Mobile App

You can access your Maricopa employee or student email on your mobile device by adding your account to the Gmail app.

Steps

How to Add Your Employee Email

  • Open the Gmail app → Go to Settings (☰ menu or your profile picture).
  • Tap Add account → Select Google.
  • Enter your MEID@your-college-alias.edu → Tap Next.
    • Important Note: Your email alias depends on your college.
      • District Office → MEID@domail.maricopa.edu
      • Gateway → MEID@gatewaycc.edu
      (Other colleges follow their standard email domains.)
  • When redirected, enter your MEID@maricopa.edu login.
  • Enter your MEID password.
  • Complete the DUO 2FA Authorization.
  • Adjust your sync settings if needed.

How to Add Your Student Email

  • Open the Gmail app → Open Settings.
  • Tap Add account → Select Google.
  • Enter your MEID@maricopa.edu → Tap Next.
  • Enter your MEID password when redirected.
  • Complete the DUO 2FA Authorization.
  • Adjust your sync settings as needed.

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t log in? Check your MEID and password or reset it at the Maricopa Password Reset page.
  • DUO 2FA not working? Ensure the device is registered and notifications are enabled.
  • Emails not syncing? Go to Gmail Settings → ensure Sync Gmail is turned on.
