Setting up MCCCD Email to the Gmail Mobile App

Access your Maricopa employee or Student email on your phone by adding it to the Gmail app.

Steps

How to add employee email to your phone

  • Open Gmail app → Go to Settings (☰ or profile picture).
  • Tap Add account → Select Google.
  • Enter your MEID@your-college-alias.edu → Tap Next.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: "your-college-alias" refers to your specific college email alias. For example, for the district office, Dist Office employees would use the email MEID@domail.maricopa.edu email, while Gateway employees would use MEID@gatewaycc.edu.
  • When redirected, enter your MEID@maricopa.edu → Enter your MEID password.
  • Follow DUO 2FA Authorization steps.
  • Adjust sync settings if needed.

 

How to add your student email to your phone

  • Open Gmail app → Go to Settings (☰ or profile picture).
  • Tap Add account → Select Google.
  • Enter your MEID@maricopa.edu → Tap Next.
  • When redirected, enter your MEID@maricopa.edu → Enter your MEID password.
  • Follow DUO 2FA Authorization steps.
  • Adjust sync settings if needed.

 

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t log in? Double-check your MEID and password or reset it using Maricopa Password Reset.
  • DUO 2FA not working? Ensure your device is registered and push notifications are enabled.
  • Emails not syncing? Go to Gmail settings and enable Sync Gmail under your account.
