LastPass – User Unable to login

Summary:

If for some reason a user cannot log in to their account, it is usually due to a lockout or error during vault re-encryption (this is auto process). Usually waiting 5 minutes unlocks the account. Note that no one can unlock accounts due to security reasons. In some cases, password reset would be needed to re-encrypt the vault, which a Super Admin is the only person who can reset account.

Solution:

If a user is unable log in and basic troubleshooting such as restarting the device, clearing browser cache fails to resolve the issue, route a ticket to DO-IT-Identity Management Team.

Typically, the user will receive the error message below attempting login
