Event Setup

What Is It?

IT offers media support for special events in the classroom or on campus. They can provide microphones, audio public address system, large TV displays, projection, etc. Video recording of campus events is also available.

Event set-ups must be coordinated through 25Live and Facilities. Media equipment will generally be set up 30 minutes prior to the scheduled beginning of the event and removed shortly after the scheduled closing.

Who Is Eligible to Use This Service?

This service is available to administrators, faculty, and students (with instructor or advisor approval). All requests require two weeks notice, and student requests require faculty or administrative authorization. The service is typically free, but evening and weekend setups may require a fee. 

Where Can I Get It?

Event Setup service is requested through the Facilities Management Department, and coordinated by them with the IT/Media Department. To request this service, click the Schedule Event button to be directed to the Facility Use page and follow the procedures identified there.
